In the latest T20I rankings released by International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday, Indian opener KL Rahul, England all-rounder Moeen Ali and West Indies star Jason Holder have shined in their respective roles.

Rahul has moved up one place to fourth, replacing Dawid Malan in the batters rankings headed by Pakistan captain Babar Azam. Apart from Rahul, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have maintained their 10th and 11th positions, respectively.

Similarly, among the all-rounders, Moeen is the major gainer jumping three places to acquire the third spot thanks to his splendid performance with ball and bat against West Indies in the recently concluded T20I series.

Moeen, who led the team in the absence of Eoin Morgan in most matches, scored 108 runs at a strike rate of 146 and picked up five wickets at an economy of 7.15. The English all-rounder has leapfrogged the likes of Glenn Maxwell and Wanindu Hasaranga, sitting at third behind Mohammad Nabi (1) and Shakib Al Hasan (2).

In the bowlers’ rankings, the West Indies duo of Akeal Hosein and Holder have achieved career-best positions thanks to brilliant performance against England, especially in the fifth T20I in Bridgetown, where the hosts registered victory and won the five-match series.

Hosein has advanced 15 places to the 18th spot after picking up 4/30 in the final T20I. He finished with six wickets in three matches. Similarly, Holder picked up nine scalps in three matches, including his phenomenal four wickets in four balls performance in the series decider. He has moved up four places to 23rd position.
