If we took a couple of catches it might be a different scenario: Pat Cummins rues dropped chances in Karachi Test
Australia’s Test captain Pat Cummins has stated that he does not regret his decision to not enforce the follow-on in the Karachi Test against Pakistan. He, however, did admit that the result of the match could have gone their way had they held on to some of the many chances that went to ground. Faced with a daunting task of chasing 506 in the fourth innings, Pakistan batted for 171.4 overs and scored 443 for 7 to walk away with a commendable draw. Babar Azam led from the front with classical, back-to-the-wall 196 while Mohammad Rizwan remained unbeaten on 104 to guide Pakistan after Azam’s departure.
