Yashasvi Jaiswal registers third highest score by an Indian batter on Test debut

Young Team India opener Yashasvi Jaiswal turned his Test debut into a memorable one, notching up a hundred in his very first appearance for India. He scored a brilliant 171 off 387 balls, a knock which featured 16 fours and a six. The 21-year-old was looking good for a double hundred when he was dismissed by nicking Alzarri Joseph to the keeper. Jaiswal stay at the crease lasted for over 500 minutes.
